COVID 19 Emergency Response

About this project
After the impact of COVID-19 at nation level the whole nation was suffering from its impact. There were no standard quarantine centres with basic health and hygiene facilities. Also the local government neither have standard operating procedure (SOP) nor code of conduct for effective quarantine centre operation. Understanding this context DCA in close coordination with Action Nepal agreed to support seven local bodies of Dhading District.

Objectives
To ensure the communities and the people living in quarantine/isolation centres have
adequate supply of safe drinking water.
To support in enhancing the capacity of Local Government to improve quarantine
management services at Palikas with standards and systems
To Improve the basic sanitation facilities and management of the government newly
established quarantine and isolation centres
To increase awareness and knowledge of people in seven Palikas on various aspects
Activities

The capacity of Local Government to improve quarantine management services improved at Palikas with standards and systems
The basic sanitation facilities and management of the government newly established quarantine and isolation centres improved.
