National and International Volunteer Camp

Action Nepal has been organizing the Volunteer Camp in coordination with DCA since 2018. To date, we have successfully completed over 18 batches of the camp. Every year, the camp is held in the areas where our projects are active. Students, teachers, and youth leaders from various schools and groups in Denmark visit these project locations and engage directly with local communities.

During their stay, participants live with host families in the community. They take part in planned activities during the day and spend the remaining time interacting with their host family, fostering mutual learning and cultural exchange. This volunteer program, combined with the homestay experience, has had a positive impact on both the communities and the host families. Since 2023, Action Nepal has been representing Nepal in Danish schools and groups under the DCA-led Go Global initiative, participating in cultural exchange, learning, interaction, and knowledge-sharing programs.
